As many of you will know there has  been a worldwide decline in honey bee populations . There are many theorys  as to the cause or causes but most experts agree that it is most likely down to the parasitic mite varroa destrutor. We at crowdedgardenorganics are dedicated to helping save the honey bee for future generations. As well as keeping bees we are constantly researching new ways of  fighting the varroa mite and we will start re-introducing colonys of bees into the wild in april 2012.
